Ed Williams is a skilled writer, producer and musician with his fair share of artist development and publishing experience. Working in the creative departments of Crossfire 3 with Steve Markland, Bug Music with Sara Knabe, then Sony/ATV Music Publishing under Troy Tomlinson, Ed has developed many writers and artists. He draws inspiration from Nashville treasures Pat McLaughlin and Kenny Greenberg and has a healthy respect for hall of famers Dean Dillon, Hank Cochran, Bobby Braddock, and Dennis Linde. Proficient on most instruments, Ed works well with artists who have a specific vision for their uniqueness. Never one to follow any trend he likes to dig into sounds and rhythms that are timeless yet completely original. He is an excellent lyric craftsman and strives for different approaches to song ideas. He pairs well with JWS writers Driver Williams, Jason Nix, Harper O’Neill, and Natalie Hemby. Most recently he co produced sides on Harper O’Neill (with Harper) and co wrote her current single “My Love, My Love” (with Harper and Jason Nix).
